Types of Stainless Steel Hose
The differing corrugations in the stainless steel hose can produce differing qualities relating to flexibility and strength. Annular stainless steel hose is formed from tubing into parallel corrugations, whereas spiral stainless steel hose is formed from continuous spiraling corrugations. Spiral stainless steel hose can be seen as most efficient with up to a 30% increase in flow, and has the ability to endure repetitious bending as stresses are more evenly dispersed.
