Arcflex metal hose assemblies are used and proven in a multitude of demanding applications – from nuclear, gas, electricity, defence, petrochemical and automotive to steam generation and cryogenics. Arcflex hose assemblies have maintained the highest standards in design and quality for over 30 years and as a result Arcflex are now the contracted supplier for Corus Steel.

Purpose of Metal Hose Assemblies

Our metal hose assemblies achieve several objectives in pipework design: absorbtion of vibration, suppress the transmitted noise from rigid pipes and to accomodate for misalignments in piping and aid flexing movement.

With our in house design department utilizing 2D and 3D CAD we can design any assembly to suit your needs or the applications specification. We also offer on-site or technical visits where required.

Maximum working pressures are up to 6000 psi, dependent upon size and operating conditions.

Assemblies, dependent upon construction and design, will operate from -200c through to 600c. Higher temperatures can be achieved with special materials please contact for details.

All hose assemblies are tested prior to dispatch to meet Arcflex product quality standards. Assemblies can be supplied tested by hydrostatic. pneumatic, mass spectrometer, dye pen and even X-ray inspected if required.

Arcflex Stainless Steel Flexible Hose & Tube

Arcflex’s Stainless Steel Flexible Hoses are available in stainless steel grades 321, 316, 316L, & 304 manufactured on site by butt welding steel strip and forming annular or spiral convolutions so that the tube adopts a highly flexible characteristic.
