We have one of the most impressive braiding facilities in the world, boasting a complete range of braiding machines
from 24, 36, 48, 64 carrier machines right up to our giant 96 carrier machine.
Due to our extensive range we have the ability to produce top quality stainless steel braid from 1/4″ (6mm) to 12″ (300mm) nominal size DN.
Housing this range of machinery sets us apart from other braid suppliers, ensuring we produce the highest quality products with an optimum specification for each size, providing strength and endurance.
Our braid can be supplied loose or braided directly onto hose, dependant on requirements.
The braid is designed for external use around corrugated tube to combat elongation and increase the tubes internal pressure rating.
Unbraided corrugated tube tends to elongate when pressurised but the braided layer prevents this.
It is recommended you have at least one external layer of braid and Arcflex you can choose light braid, standard braid, heavy braid and extra heavy braid depending on your project requirements.
We also have stainless braided braid which is an impressive 50% stronger than standard basket weave braid, making it ideal for pulsating and shock pressures or high vibration conditions.
