Arcflex Quality Assured to BS EN ISO 9001:2000
Customers are becoming more sophisticated, better informed and their expectations are growing. For any business, the only way to keep up is to offer a commitment to quality. In fact any organisation, whatever their size or industry sector can give themselves a secure future by introducing a quality management system (QMS) such as ISO 9002:2000. Arcflex have recently implemented this new quality management system and have achieved full British standard certification.
ISO 9002:2000 is now the most widely recognized standard for Quality Management. More and more companies in both public and private sectors seek suppliers who have ISO 9000 based quality management systems. It is therefore an area that you cannot afford to ignore.
What is a QMS?
A quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 will provide your organisation with a set of processes that ensure a common sense approach to the management of your organisation.

The system should ensure consistency and improvement of working practices, which in turn should provide products and services that meet customer's requirements. ISO 9000 is the most commonly used international standard that provides a framework for an effective quality management system.

What is ISO 9000?
ISO 9000 is a generic name given to a family of standards developed to provide a framework around which a quality management system can effectively be implemented.

ISO 9001:2000, the requirement standard, includes the following main sections:

1. Quality Management System
2. Management Responsibility
3. Resource Management
4. Product Realisation
5. Measurement Analysis and Improvement

Please be aware that we produce all our assemblies with a length tolerance of + 3.5% -3.5% as our quality standard, if you have any other requirements please specify on order.
